Just uploaded Saints Marching In Cornet Solo onto the audio portal

Saint March In Cornet Solo

I heard a twist of this while I was in New Orleans in the French Quarter.

The band that was playing it was performing in front of the cathderal.

Since the N.O. football team is called the Saints, it went like "It will be the day when the Saints win the superbowl".

I forget the bands name (the lazy six) but they knew how to draw a crowd.

Found this online today while looking for sheet music on classical folk songs.

If you no habla espanol, La Curaracha means cockroach.

Lyrics vary from about a cockroach having no legs to having no reefer to smoke.

And from the sites I've read, song started during mexican revolution to the spanish american war, and even futher back, possibly to spain, during 19th century conflicts.

Anyway, that's it for now. Going to get back playing my horn.

Just uploaded a folk song from australia I found on the net called Lime Juice Tub.
Fun song to play, just didn't get the name until I saw a video of it on youtube.

Joke is that lime juice tub is a nickname for a british sailing ship. And british sailor were called limies.

Heh, guess you learn something new everyday huh?

Just finished up a track called Tong Brrup It.

Created it out of a sax sample and it sounded decent when I had it playing in Fruity Loops.
But when I saved it into MP3 format, all the spin sounds were gone and turned into just clicks instead, no matter what format or qualitiy I put it in. Whhhat?
Anyway, going to figure this one out. Ugghh.

Just uploaded traditional folk song 'Nine Hundred Miles' on the portal.

Couldn't find the origianal composer for the song, but found alot of other artists have adapted it for their albums such as Bob Dylan. Google list it as traditional but I'm still trying to figure out where it has come from and who wrote it. Does anyone know?
